Just received word that several Muppets will be performing on PBS' A Capitol Fourth celebration tomorrow evening. In 2006 Elmo was one of the headlining guests. This year Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch and more will be attending.
No news yet on whether Sam the Eagle will appear. This should not be taken as indication that any of these Muppets are running for higher office.
