Crist announces Senate run, Slimey still undecided

Charlie Crist announced today his intention to run for the United States Senate. As we reported back in April, Slimey was considering a run for Florida's 15th Congressional District. However, with this senate seat likely to become a national focal point during the 2010 midterms, some operatives are attempting to get Slimey to run for the seat himself to further the Muppet agenda.

Slimey has not made an official announcement about running for the 15th district, let alone the senate, but if he so chooses, he might be a formidable opponent against the popular governor. And to further add insult to injury, Slimey would easily compete with Crist for who is more orange-ier.
Stay tuned for an announcement by Slimey as to his future intentions. We expect one by mid-summer.
